I was a runner up in the Nicholl and won a couple of script comps (Pasadena and the Philly logine one in 2007 or thereabouts and I forget what else), but that got me in the door. Lots of Hollywood meetings....all the studios...friars club...prodco offices. I managed to remain an anal virgin despite numerous lucrative offers and the options kept me in bagels and coffee.
