This film starts really strongly with some beautiful cinematography and nice work from the girl. The scarecrow is, genuinely, scary and the tearing paper idea works well. I think if it had stuck to simpler ideas like these it would have been great, but it felt like the concepts went beyond the budget in the latter half of the film, and we ended up with a few too many ideas in the mix. However coming out and back into (presumably) reality at the end was really strong. With some trimming (particularly could do with losing the "worlds worst sniper" section) I think it could still be a lovely piece.
