This film explores the essence of the phone and the relationships humans have with technology.

It is an attempt to consider the inner workings of inanimate objects, specifically mobile phones, and centers around notions of AI, machine learning, and an engagement with OOO.

The film uses Siri voices to create conversations and the iPhone camera to record the perspectives that these objects have on their place in the world, as they all travel towards ‘the box’.

Centered on the Michael Faraday Memorial in the middle of the Elephant & Castle roundabout, ‘the box’ is a fictive account of the memorials content and becomes the destination for 4 phones as they journey towards their exit from the physical world.
