Sitting in an interview studio, a charismatic young boxer attempts to come to terms with his history of depression. The Hardest Fight of My Life is a short docudrama about boxing and depression. The film is constructed from interviews with boxers around the UK who have experienced struggles with their mental health, and is about how boxing can be used as a coping mechanism and a means to fight against mental ill-health.
