The Heights was a modern day adaptation of Wuthering Heights, created in collaboration with independent film makers on a low budget. I pitched the original idea to the producer and after it was approved I researched the story for adaptation (which included reading the original novel and analysing several adaptations).
During the pre-production, I wrote several drafts for approval. Each edit brought the screenplay down to an appropriate shooting script. I was involved with the casting process and read opposite the actors through Skype auditions, agreeing on the final casting choices. I also co-directed the filming process
