Jane is a writer struggling with her first novel. She is stuck in the paralytical throes of writer's block. Hiring out an office block purely for herself she sets to work on finishing her story, a semi-autobiographical tale, the main character even shares a name with her. But she can't seem to get started. Her novel only seems to work when, in the final pages, the main character Jane takes out a gun and shoots herself. But Jane doesn't want this of her character, and she doesn't want this of herself either.
As time passes and procrastination wiles the hours away, Jane slowly starts dipping into the recesses of her own dark mind, where a mysterious figure seems intent on her murder at gun point.
