When an unemployed young woman from Hell's Kitchen and her equally unemployed immigrant boyfriend are threatened with eviction, they each resort to desperate measures and find themselves in the middle of a real estate war. THE SACRED HEART recently screened at the Big Apple Film Festival in Manhattan, and won Best NYC Film at the NYC Downtown Short Film Festival at the Duo Theatre in Manhattan.
