Launched by the Palestine Film Institute in May 2025, the Palestine Film Fund provides essential financial and professional support for Palestinian filmmakers worldwide, regardless of where they live or what passport they carry. It was established to ensure that Palestinians have the right to tell their own stories, shape their own narratives and control their own images of experiences, struggles, and hopes.

Channel 4 Digital Drama is commissioning a three-part short-form drama or comedy-drama pilot (7–15 minutes per episode, budget under £270k) aimed at 16–34 audiences. They’re looking for tonally fresh, contemporary stories with original voices, compelling characters and the potential to grow into a longer-running series—something instantly shareable and must-watch. Eligible indies must meet the Diverse Indies Fund ownership and turnover criteria, and a dedicated commissioning round will select the project.

Independent Cinema Office are running Get It Seen — a development lab for UK-based producers with feature films in development, designed to help you plan how to actually get your film seen.
Across a three-day intensive in London (20–22 January 2026), plus follow-up advisor sessions, participants will work with industry leaders to build practical distribution and release strategies. You’ll dig into everything from marketing and festival planning to international sales, and get direct access to distributors, exhibitors and sales agents including Picturehouse Entertainment, Curzon and Watershed.
The programme is open to emerging and established producers (not early career). Participants are paid a £415.50 fee, and travel support is available.
