If you could be in a re-make of any film, what would it be and why?
American Werewolf in London. It has the the tightest storyline, real grit, and it feels like a very British film regardless of the fact that the director is American. I would want to be the werewolf
If you could be in a re-make of any film, what would it be and why?
I think Mad Max as I love the action sequences and would love to be involved in a re make. My inner stuntman would be free to express themselves and I would get to drive some really cool prop vehicles. The attention to detail is fantastic in the Fury Road version but it could do with a bit more emotional engagement for the audience. Tom Hardy is a great actor but I’m sure that I could bring a bit more humour and humanity to the character if allowed…
If you could be in a re-make of any film, what would it be and why?
I think I'd want to be in Before Sunrise. I find the conversational script so intriguing, as every single line was scripted but it feels like improvisation the whole way as the actors are so natural on screen. I'd love to work with Richard Linklater and learn about his process.
If you were trapped in a lift, which actor would you want to help you break free and why?
Andrew Scott (who hasn't had a crush on a hot priest) and this would only add to the impossible romance story. Alternatively Helena Bonham as I am sure we could have a good laugh and maybe just get pissed in the elevator together
If you could be in a re-make of any film, what would it be and why?
Robin Hood Prince of Thieves but it would be a non binary "Robin Hood most Valiant of Vagabonds." With updated script and sword play. For the joy of swords, bows, horses, daring doings, reparté, swordfights and a triumpant underdog.
If you could be in a re-make of any film, what would it be and why?
Swiss Army Man- I would love to try my hand at Paul Dano's character. It's such a strange film and an oddly beautiful performance with that wonderfully raw DIY film maker energy to the whole thing. I think I could bring a lot to in a different way.
If you were trapped in a lift, which actor would you want to help you break free and why?
Liam Neeson he's a Jedi and a man with a special set of skills and if his skills didn't include "escaping from a lift" those Jedi powers would definitely come in handy.
If you were trapped in a lift, which actor would you want to help you break free and why?
Steve Buscemi as he used to be a firefighter and I'm sure he'd get us out of there. Also he's someone whose career I love playing across all genres. I can't think of a female equivalent so maybe it could be me one day
If you could be in a re-make of any film, what would it be and why?
Knives Out, I absolutely love that film. It's probably one of the newer choices but the sets and art and all the talents both from cast and crew surrounding it are incredible. And there's a brilliantly thrilling story to boot. That kind of script gives me life.
