I am looking too connect with film makers and directors on this site. What is the best way to do that? Is anyone making anything at the moment they need a London based actor for?

The best way to find collaborators is over on Production > Get Work. https://shootingpeople.org/production/work You can then search for 'Cast' and Location to narrow down the search.
