Hey all,

I’ve got some camera gear for filmmaking, but I’ve been wondering if I could also try doing some actor headshots on the side - just to get a bit more into stills and hopefully practice more.

Actors, if you were coming to a “home studio” shoot, what would you actually want to see? I’ve got a small flat with white walls, so that could work as a clean background. I’m thinking softbox lights, maybe a reflector or two, but I’m not sure whether I should invest in proper backdrops, or if just using the walls is fine.

Also open to any other ideas - props, small tweaks to make a place feel professional, or anything that makes people more comfortable in front of the camera. Want it to feel approachable, not like some scary photoshoot.
