INDEXAdvice for Graphic novel film adaption on Slated-Help
5 years, 10 months ago - richard kelly
Hello from Richard, i am requesting help on getting attention for my planned film of my own graphic novel adaption, called Canterburied Tales. I plan to launch this on Slated, a film site. I have no production company attached, and i am aware of investor help such as investor square. If aware of any other investor help or production company help let me know. The planned film is to be an anthology film that is supernatural in medieval times. I have a Graphic novel of this i could email to interested parties regarding financing-producing, if of help email sagitarius215@yahoo.co.uk thanks.

Is there a script? If there isn't, you really need to team up with a writer.
Also, is there any kudos floating around re the graphic novel - did it sell well? win prizes? spin off reddits and fanfic? If there is, that would be a big help.
To me the danger word is ANTHOLOGY. That instantly makes think it will EITHER be a series of loosely linked shorts OR a complex multi threaded narrative. Both are hard to make work. A standard narrative structure would be an easier sell.
