Is it ok to use headphones that are a different make to the camcorder? (they do connect, but I just want clarification). For example: Alesis AHP 1 Headphones with Panasonic DVC 30. Thank you

Should be fine if they're both mini jacks - you may only get sound in one ear though if the source is mono and headphones stereo
