Ufff. Thankyou David Lynch for showing us that the surreal and the mundane can hold hands and DANCE.

And thankyou for giving us constant sublime masterclasses on breaking rules, radical inventions and embracing the weird.

And.... gawd. Twin Peaks.... Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou for defining the 90's for me. I was in NYC in '96 I think, and there was a 24hr diner in the meatpacking district called 'Florent'. I'll never forget seeing Lynch there, in his suit, having breakfast at 3am.....
