Any recommendations for a 1-2 day/online course for "film production 101"?

Oh pants, network dropped whilst posting, and for some reason on SP that's fatal, refresh doesn't resubmit :'-( All those beautifully crafted words...

In short, Raindance, Webfilmschool, guerrilla filmmakers, all say much the same content, will all encourage you, so it's down to style. They tend to be big on enthusiasm and a little light on the dull realities, but seeing as most attendees/viewers will never make a movie, that's probably fair for the sake of entertainment. They'll all give you enough to get going, but you'll learn on the job. Your first budget will be well short of the total costs which you'll discover as you go through, but even the fact that you're making a budget puts you ahead of 90% of aspirants.

The tutors for these kinds of courses tend to make their livings from courses for aspirants, not from producing films, and make of that what you will. You don't necessarily have to be good at doing something to be good at teaching it, after all.
