My name is Ira, I'm a documentary filmmaker, editor and colourist.

It's funny because I wrote a very similar post a couple of months ago and got a lot of valuable responses.

I'm always super happy to collaborate and help out on other people's projects. I'm mostly making documentaries and music videos but I can take part in other projects as well. I think it's important to meet new people and stay connected.

Hi Dominic - this is only one of several similar posts I've seen like this on this site. I've written quite a stack of stuff very little of which is likely to see the light of a cinema or TV screen, and most of my experience is in front of the camera rather than behind it.. But it would be good to meet up and chat. I was in a screen-writing group some years ago that folded mysteriously. Still trying to work that one out though we had a very peculiar single member who appeared to alienate everyone. That's always a risk though - just a thought could be me of course. Hi Dominic. At the moment I don't have lots of time for organising stuff, but I'm up for being involved somehow. I've been involved in quite a lot of small films, can do eg. sound recording, assistant directing, editing, some VFX etc.

Thanks for the replies! I got a much more positive response to this post via direct reply/private email than I was expecting! I'm glad to see that this website has such a hungry community.

I'm not sure whether everyone will get a notification based on this reply, but please add me on whatsapp, I'm going to set up a group for everyone who is interested in joining this collective. If this does actually surface in some form or other I think we should consider the format. Just meeting and ad libbing can work but often in spurts and better I feel to construct some format however loose. Any thoughts on this folks? Alternatively we could just wing it and see what happens.
