I'm Dawn - I just joined SP and saw your post. If you're still looking to collaborate with other writers/directors/actors I'd love have a chat. We have similar writing styles as I love writing female driven content as well. I've recently written a short film for next year's festival circuit that has some quirky, funny, scifi elements while dealing with themes of anxiety. HI Desirae, I have written a trilogy based on my experience in the police and private detective industry and struggling with the complexities of moving plots to screenplay. I have a multitude of ideas and now moving on effectively with two ventures which will consume all my time. I have a third, which will gather dust, with a female lead police officer and a female colleague fighting paedophile activity at all levels of the Justice system. Hi Desirae,

I've only recently gotten into film-making and co-wrote my first short this summer that we shot out in LA. I'm already working on my second script with both the central character beings women - but really enjoyed the collaborative process of co-writing and it would be great to stay in touch even just to bounce ideas off each other, discuss characters etc.

Hi Desiree - reading some of the above are you now having second thoughts given all the extra work you're lumbered yourself with? I know I would but if you're not like me you might be interested in some of my stuff. I'm an actor/writer (you have to call yourself something) and I've written several shorts and a one-act play. Amongst the shorts is a 'feminist' type you might like, called 'The Bully' in which the knocked about and down-trodden wife turns out actually to be bullying 'him'. I've also had some weirder ideas arising from the U3A's Creative Writing group that I'd love to turn to shorts.
