Virtual Reality is at an exciting crossroads, the technology is now in the mainstream and with the price of hardware falling all the time the virtual experience is now accessible to most people. However, the biggest challenge facing the innovation is a lack of content to meet growing demand. Beyond the gaming industry media providers have been very slow to exploit the huge potential of this emerging technology and its commercial rewards. For a while now I've kicking around a concept for a platform that can aggressively cultivate and create content for the virtual reality market. I know what I would like to do and what format it might take, but I know that I cannot do it alone. I have a couple of investors who I am pitching to shortly who really like the idea, but want to know more. It would be great to hook up with a couple of like minded individuals who like this area and feel they may have something to offer, perhaps as potential co-founders.
