I'm looking for a total of £5000 to make a feature length drama project, producer credit and almost any involvement you wish,
plus a good percentage of gross income.

Well... a feature length drama my listing says. I'm aware that feature films may start will at a six figure budget. But I'm a film-maker, and this project is my tenth feature length project. I make film the way I breath, to live. This project called sheep in Fog will be shot over 7 days with a certain amount of improvisation, around a few location. A micro budget project with a micro crew. I write the story outline, co direct, edit and do sound design, and charge myself nothing...

Kickstarter?
Just be aware £5k is approaching nothing in features world (features cost a lot more than shorts, bigger overheads), so you may need to supply a bit of a budget explaining how you will make a feature for so little, help people get behind your vision :)

I can see that you might be able to make a feature film for 5K.
But I wonder just what the income potential is? You've made 9 films already and don't have 5K left over for this one? That implies that your films don't actually make any money, so income potential is a high percentage of a small number.
What you need is a patron, not an investor.
A patron gives money to get the art to happen. An investor views the art as the means by which their money is multiplied.
So, what is it about Sheep in Fog that means it should have a patron?
Also, once you have the answer to that, it might help you find that Patron. Patrons can be organisations with non financial metrics. E.g. "Sheep in Fog follows a traditional Welsh hill farmer as he tends his flock. We see it being broadcast late at night on C4 or BBC4, with a much bigger Player audience. It shows a life in a landscape and will bring tourists by the thousand to the hidden valleys of mid wales. " For the Welsh Tourist Board that might look like a brilliant way to spend 5K, if your background suggests that you have at least some chance of getting it on TV.

Happy to include a 20 minute short of Welsh sheep on a foggy day as special features.

The project is along the lines of the Sylvia Plath story...

I've now got the budget down to £4,500 with a six day schedule. Have got one third of the funding and am looking for two people who would be interested in covering one third each. Possible participation in the project as you wish for anyone interested in coming along for the ride. Please email stephen@zelicafilms.co.uk to discuss.
