INDEXAnyone know of a reasonably priced large, light, rehearsal space in Central London for a theatre project in August?

Anywhere relatively close to transport would be great and if it's got access to a kettle even better :-)
Thanks
Pat

Hi Pat,
Try The Thanet, Herbert St, NW5 4HD (Chalk Farm nearest tube)...It's a charity and they will ask for a donation,, but it is a great space, and they are super accommodating.. Unfortunately I don't have contact details as the person who set it up Jim ( a marvelous fellow) passed away but I know the place is still running,, I'm sure a bit of web research will do the trick or just pop in and say hi...
Best of luck
Steel

Hi Pat, last weekend we did a casting at RAG FACTORY, they also have rehearsal space which I will probably be using. It is cheap compared to everything else, and it is very ... rustic. I would recommend you go and see it. Closest tube Algate East, the studios are off Bricklane.

Hi Pat,
I often use a room called the Gallery Space at The Vibe bar in Brick Lane, E1 which is close to Liverpool street Tube station. It's light but not overly large, depends on what your needs are. However, you can contact Mike at The Vibe Bar on 0207 426 0491. Good luck with your project.
Lynne
