INDEXAnyone know of any agents looking to expand their list of screenwriters?

Hi all,
I'm an aspiring screenwriter with a fair bit of work completed already. I'm eager for representation as it gives you that added bit of credibility when submitting work to different production companies. I know you have to go after work yourself, and the agent finalises deals but they are a necessity in the industry these days.
I've heard bad things about submitting to the various agencies who represent writers so rather than go in blind, I was wondering if anyone knew of particular agencies who are ACTIVELY seeking to expand their list of screenwriters? Some of these agencies might be catch-alls, i.e. they represent actors, directors as well or they might be small agencies looking to enlarge.
Any help on identifying such agencies would be greatly appreciated. It might also help other aspiring screenwriters who use SP.
Thanks!

Do you have anything produced or optioned? That's probably what an agent will be looking for. Someone who can earn them commission. There's a million and one writers who want reps that are unproduced.
Also did you see the other conversation about agents that quite the hot topic at the moment on here?

If they're actively seeking new writers, and you've a good body of quality work under your belt and more on the way, chances are they'll find you.
If they don't, it really isn't worth your time chasing representation. Network laterally, focus on your craft. Produce more work.
The only representation worth having (if any) is the kind that comes after you. An agent should fight for you. So you need them to want you in the first place.
