'A Japanese man with seemingly everything embarks on his annual trip in hopes of retrieving his greatest loss - his son.'

Looking for some crew members to help bring a zero-dialogue short drama piece about love, yearning, human connection and the imperfections in us all to life.

The film is a visual embodiment of an unreleased song about my father, a summary of my feelings and emotions whilst also exploring his potential remorse upon abandoning his family.

Currently aiming to shoot in Olney (Buckinghamshire) & Leicester, each one day over the bank holiday in April (likely Friday & Saturday) and looking for the following;

Hair & Make-Up
Costume Designer
Boom Operator
Set Designer
Stills
1st AD
Runner

It's a personal self-funded passion project, so it's expenses at the moment (I know..) but hopefully if we achieve some additional funding, we'll sort something out!
