Thanks for responding. Tried that, there's a fair bit covering 6D but nothing for Zoom F4, except reviews.

Try looking for F8 tutorials - I would guess a lot of the menu options, etc., would be the same.

Hi, never used the Zoom unfortunately (looks like a nice bit of kit and could be straight forward) but I've made all kinds of films for years as a one man crew including a feature on the Canon 6D ('Hunters Lodge' on Amazon Prime or Vimeo on Demand). More examples on martyntott.com. It's a great camera. PM me if you want to.

I have used the ZOOM recorder on a short drama film last month, its a great recorder and sound fine. uses up batteries fast. but will power up a rode NTg1 shotgun mic with P48 volts no problems. I upgraded to a Tascam D70 4 channel recorder which does sound slightly better but is quicker to use on set, has volume knobs rather than push buttons. David
