Are sugar glass products still used a lot onset ? or is the a better alternative ?

Do they still use sugar glass bottles and so on , onset these days ? I've been asked to make some , which is fine , just wondering if there is a better alternative ?

There are other breakaway materials with different advantages that are also used (not being sticky being a major one!). Try flints.co.uk for some of the different breakaway products.

www.breakawayfx.com sell a great range though, and it may be cheaper/more reassuring/easier to insure professionally made pieces depending on the needs and project.

Thank - you that is a great help . As there is so much moisture in the air the stickiness is a big issue .

Yes, actual sugar glass has a useful life expectancy measured in hours, whereas the resin ones last ages!
