So I've just finished a 6-episode arc of my web-series and it's gone well but not exceptionally. I'm happy with the product and happy with the reception, but it hasn't smashed through that barrier that I think a lot of web-series get stuck at.

But it's been valuable experience and it's given me a much clearer idea of what and how I want to approach another web-series. I know that I have the ability to make this happen (it's a more ambitious project than my previous series, but I did manage to carry that off with very little in the way of resources) but in order for it to fulfil its potential I want to work with other people who are looking to make a really successful web-series.

So I have two things in mind:

Firstly, if you're interested in working together on a web-series (a political comedy) then I'd love to buy you a coffee and chat about what I'm envisaging and how I want to achieve it. In an ideal world, I'm looking for a ProdCo who have some experience with web content and would be willing to partner up with a smaller creator who has a track record of delivering pretty decent, very inexpensive content. (But of course, am happy to hear from actors, editors, composers, cinematographers, soundies, VFX peeps..etc if you're interested in working on made-for-web stuff!)

Secondly, I'd love to speak to anyone who's working in and around the web-series game. This doesn't have to be about collaboration - I would just love to pick your brain about how you financed, produced and distributed your show. Any level, any success rate (even if you just want to moan about how hard it is!), I'd love to chat. I basically want approach my next project with the highest level of market understanding I can reasonably achieve.
