Since 1996 I have worked in various roles at the iconic Rough Trade Shops, where I received a thorough education in music past and present and made hundreds of contacts at all levels of the music industry.

I recently decided to strike out on my own as I feel that I can provide something extra in the competitive field of music supervision.

In particular I am hoping to be able to source content that is potentially both higher quality and cheaper than what is available from the bigger labels.

As the director of Rough Trade’s commercially released compilation series from 2002 to 2016, I licensed around a thousand individual tracks and built strong and long-standing relationships with a vast number of international artists and labels.

I learned about the broader trends of course, but my personal interest was, and remains in, music and artists that lead the way creatively, which means that I also have a very good idea of new directions in contemporary music.

I can also put sound to picture in the edit process using Final Cut Pro.
