Black Magic cinema camera EF mount

I have a set of Canon Lenses and thinking of switching to Black Magic - Does anyone know how ey it is to use Cnaon lenses on a Black Magic and also whether it records at 50MBps?

Some Canon lenses don't work with the firmware, quick Google or Vimeo search will show you if the ones you want to buy are approved. Also yes, the raw data rate is much higher the 50Mbps, as I suspect the Prores is too.

The camera was designed precisely for people like you who already have Canon lenses. Most will work. http://forum.blackmagicdesign.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4651

The "lightest" codec it shoots is Prores HQ, which is 61Mbps in standard definition (which the camera doesn't even shoot) and 184Mbps in HD assuming 25fps. Raw is approximately 1000Mbps (5 megabytes per frame) at 2.5K.
