Dear Shooters

After several months of pre-production my 4th feature as writer/director, the non-traditional 'horror' film 'BONOBO' goes into production June 5-27, shooting on the Red Epic with an immensely talented cast and crew behind it.

Filming in London and the Peak District we're crewed up and have all (fantastic) locations paid for and secured plus most of the required kit.

HOWEVER

Last week we lost a financier suddenly putting us £15,000 ($23,000) under budget!

The film is only low budgeted anyway and was always conceived as such for various reasons that can be later explained, so whilst 15K is a small amount of money (in terms of film production) it's actually LOADS to us on this occasion.

Additionally acting as one of the producers I've put EVERY PENNY I had into 'Bonobo', run up all my credit cards, sold belongings and been refused further loans to bank roll the production. I'm putting my money where my mouth is in the belief of this project and the talent involved, but it seems I need further help.

Firstly, we have set up a Kickstarter campaign. It's got off to a not particularly great start despite pitching it everywhere, shaving off my hair as publicity

Secondly, (for UK tax paying investors) our company Rockin' Motion Pictures Ltd is seed-EIS approved by HMRC meaning investors get huge tax relief breaks (ie. guaranteed money back) I suggest asking an accountant, visiting www.seis.co.uk for further details or message me directly.

For myself 'Bonobo' isn't about financial gain so I'm very open to co-production and/or bringing in additional Executive Producers to help this film and bulk up your own CV with a film that promises to be universally engaging and look beautiful as a sale-able professionally produced feature.

If we can get financially back on track it will take away this huge headache and allow me to concentrate on the direction of 'Bonobo' rather than financial woes.

Over one day this April we shot and edited a 90 second taster promo as something of a screen test with a crew of 3.
