Hi everyone.
I am an award winning film music composer based in my studio in London.
I am currently working on a few features (HBO, Netflix, Red Bull) but reaching out to our beloved community here for networking and for the interesting and unique connections and collaborations that may arise.

Hi Alexandros,
Very cool post.
I am friends with Max Rael, who is in Decommissioned Forests and History of Guns as well as doing solo music as Realism. About a year ago Max did a great score for a short I made and I know he has since done a lot of thinking and reading about film scoring. He is very a unique and interesting artist and I wonder if it would be okay if I pass on your message to him in case he want to get in touch? (He is not a member of SP)

Following receipt and response to private messages from you which I found unreasonable and challenging but naturally will not repeat, and for the benefit of anyone else on here who is confused by the above exchange:
What I did in responding to your request was ask you if it was okay to pass on your post containing your request to a party outside the field in which you made it so that the party would be aware of it and have an opportunity they would not otherwise have had to help you with your request.
You then used the 'happy to help' line as though you were doing me a favour and instructed me to ‘tell’ (rather than ask or invite) said party to contact you.
To make it crystal clear, I did not ask for or want your help but rather I was offering to assist with your request in a spirit of good will by facilitating the possibility of your collaboration with someone who appears to meet the requirements described in your request and who might also appreciate such a possibility should they be made aware of it.
Your post struck a chord in me because there have been times whilst engaged in various areas of the filmmaking process in which I would have liked to have more meaningful communication with others engaged that area than I was having.
It's a pity when people go beyond a healthy self respect and into the realm of arrogance when ‘reaching out’ for something or promoting themselves.
‘Happy to help’ is assuming way too much. ‘Tell him’ is likewise a bit cocky. That kind of attitude will distance self-respecting people from you and close doors to all but the grovelling and sycophantic.
