INDEXBurning my film from Premiere Pro CS3 to DVD, How?
9 years, 11 months ago - Kevin Squelch
I’m sure this is an easy problem to solve. I've finished editing a film on Premiere Pro CS3 and wanted to burn it straight to DVD I can't seem to be able to do that so I read that I can export it as an MPEG2-DVD file - I've done that but it gives me two files – one movie file and one sound file, how do I now burn the two files, as one, to a DVD, or is there a better way of getting my film onto DVD with a high quality finish?
Thank you.

Probably not the best solution but I export to AVI and then use a free program called "DVD Flick". Hope that helps.

Import the two files (MPEG video and AC3 audio) into Adobe Encore, it's part of the CS3 suite of tools. That's assuming you acquired it legit... CS3 is quite old. Encore was done away with in CS6.
Do you have access to Adobe Encore CS3? Other than that export as H.264 (combind file) and use Handbrake or ImgBurn (free). But make sure your export settings from CS3 are to SD DVD specs - Maximum audio/video bitrate of 9.4Mbps (set to no higher than 9Mbps VBR). and no more than a combined files size of 4.7Gb (in practise it's more like 4.2gb)
