Cafe and House Locations Needed for Short Filming in May

10 years, 3 months ago - Olwyn Fagan

Looking for a number of locations for a forthcoming zombie horror film with a twist! The film will be a portfolio film for MA students from the Central School of Speech & Drama, from award-winning director, Rob Savage (http://www.rob-savage.co.uk/) Shooting between the 11th & 15th of May.

First and most pressing - a convincing family home - Looking for somewhere where we can film in the kitchen & perhaps also (ideally) a large bedroom (big enough for tracking shots). This location must be within London and would be required for 2-3 days during the aforementioned dates. We do have some budget for this, but obviously, as this is a student production (albeit with a professional crew) not full location fees.

Secondly, we are looking for a diner/cafe - again, within London is key - - ideally a kind of grimy caff type affair but open to suggestions. The same story applies some budget for this but not a massive amount.

Please get in touch if you know of anything - am happy to discuss rates and/or availability.

Thanks!

As I recall, The Bridge Cafe in Park Royal is where they shoot The Apprentice 'losers' meetings, so they might be up for film units. It's just around the corner from LH2, so you can get lamps from Panalux or Neg Earth or from one of the other studios etc just locally
