INDEXCan anybody recommend insurance for a home office/production company?

We are a new company in need of insurance that covers our equipment in our office (also my home) and our cameras when we travel. Also some public liability insurance.
I can't seem to find a company that includes the cameras due to it being a "rare trade".
Any help would be great. Thank you.

I have used the same company for twenty odd years. They are now part of JELF

My day to day business is covered by Hiscox Business for under a tenner a month. It includes PLI and £10k of owned stuff, but no Employers Liability which I get as an extra as required.

Hi Razaka,
I just got excellent coverage for a home office including equipment and travelling with mobile phone, laptop and other stuff. I used Allianz UK. This also included Public Liabilty etc. They charged around £360 for a year which I though was great.
Hope that helps

You could try giving AON a call, they were the cheapest I could find:

I was with Aon for years, who I loved dealing with but last year they seemed so expensive, so I moved to Neil Harle at Essex Insurance Brokers. They gave me a great deal for my equipment at home and for the public liability shoot of my latest film. I haven't found anyone cheaper or better. Try towergate, performance and Essex. Those 3 all do production co insurance. I found towergate to be cheapest for an annual policy. Depends on the value of your equipment though.
