Can anyone recommend a good lawyer they've worked with regarding the optioning of book rights?

I'm looking for help optioning a book and agreeing the subsequent contracts. It would be great to get a recommendation for a trustworthy, helpful lawyer that someone has experience of working with.

Thanks

There's an entertainment lawyer in Florida (US) who does a lot of optioning books and subsequent contracts, if you're interested in an American lawyer. Ned McLeod, email: entlwr@earthlink.net. He's very helpful and trustworthy. For some info on him, http://www.linkedin.com/pub/ned-mcleod/a/25a/4a0

Hi Christopher,
we work with Tom Frederikse at Clintons. He's great BUT he's a hardcore music lawyer. He will be able to recommend someone very good.
Here's a quote from their front page
"Clintons is an award winning boutique law firm, based in Covent Garden in Central London. It is a market leader in the entertainment, digital media and creative industries"

best of luck, Caroline
