I am looking for a wordpress developer who knows what they are doing and is responsive and wants to be involved in a new project. Don't get excited, its not an open ended budget, but if you are new and want to add a special project to your portfolio then get in touch. Thank you

I joined People Per Hour ( https://www.peopleperhour.com/ ) for the same reason, and I encountered the best Wordpress and Drupal developers around. They are pretty inexpensive, and you can review their portfolios and feedback before commissioning them. Best of luck, Ishmael

I've knocked together my own wordpress site, used to be a data system developer, pretty technical so know that different skills are needed for different aspects :-) I'm no expert of wordpress itself, but might be able to offer pointers - for instance is it necessarily a wordpress customisation you need, or would it suit drupal more?
Best,

Try Jake. I have used him to create a couple of wordpress based sites and he still does my hosting. He knows how to work wordpress for video and ecommerce application, is very experienced and inexpensive, but with personal approach. https://jakerichard.co.uk/

Wordpress is a framework with different skills required for different areas - a template is a totally different skillset than a plugin or even just configuring the a base site with appropriate plugins and applying templates!
If you explain exactly what you're after it may make it easier to direct you, otherwise look at fiverr, peopleperhour, etc :)

Paddy, I was going to flag up Drupal as well.
If he just wants something pretty, Wordpress is probably the way to go (loads affordable developers). But if something powerful, esp if to do with the process of film production or CRM, Drupal is well worth a look.
I'm so waiting for Drupal 8 - Views in Core and Twig, sounds wonderful.

Hi - I use a guy called Rob Hills, www.greenacorn-webdesign.co.uk He uses the Wordpress platform, coupled with the One address system. It has its limitations but has served me well for two years.
