Can anyone recommend a industrial feeling location in Liverpool, Chester, or the West Midlands?

Hi,

I'm looking to shoot a steampunk short in the Liverpool/Chester, with a few friends, and was wondering if anyone might happen to know any good places to look for industrial/commercial style locations?

Hi Rory, if you are looking for interiors there are some big, interesting warehouse spaces in Liverpool on locations web sites, Chester is not great for industrial spaces (we know, we're based there!) If we ever need to shoot anything that looks more gritty/urban and can't get to Manchester or Liverpool we tend to use the canal area close to our office, but it's small really, OK for two or three sequences but doesn't offer massive scope. Liverpool or Birkenhead would definitely offer more - try the film office!
