Can anyone recommend really, REALLY good DSLR shooters that can film a short but very beautiful sequence and capture good sound in any of the following countries: India, Kenya, China, Indonesia and Malaysia? Please send showreels or examples of work clearing stating your role, where in these countries you work/live (internal travel only can be covered) and your day rate. Many thanks!

I would go on Vimeo, find some videos that grab your interest shot in those countries, and then contact the creator of the video to see if they can connect you to their DP.
