INDEXCan anyone share with me their website for their short that I can reference in talks I give at universities?

I like to demonstrate a diversity of sites to students. I also talk about wordpress, wix and weebly as platforms upon which to build the site. If anyone has any tips or comments on that process I'd be grateful.

Hi James, You can check out the website of a short I recently produced, based in 11 cities and co-directed by 11 filmmakers.. www.project11thefilm.com
The few things we had in mind while designing the site were-
1) The site should do justice to the visual-scape of the film, which in our case is very interesting & diverse.
2) People involved in making the film should get proper due.
3) The universe of the story can be expanded beyond the film by providing extra info on characters, their back stories, the overall concept etc.
4) Resources like script drafts & storyboards should be handy for reference.
Hope it helps :-)

A website with a page dedicated to short films: www.iwitnessedimages.com created with iWeb, very simple and effective!

My short ´How Long is Indefinite?´ was produced with various charities to raise awareness of indefinite detention in the UK. We used wordpress to make a site for the film, the issue and how to bet involved www.howlongisindefinite.wordpress.com
Thanks,
Alexis

Hi James
The website for our short film Arterial is here: http://arterialshortfilm.com/
It;s built in Wordpress and is responsive design so it works well on small screens and mobile devices. A little bit of messing around with code to make sure the YouTube trailer resizes for mobile. But other than that - pretty straightforward to pull together and add your own design style.
Hope that helps
Chris

James, my site is currently undergoing a refit and redesign as it's changing from a mode of working (dating back to 2007) which had films streamed in Flash or Apple QuickTime to a new one which works off wordpress and other platforms. It may be of some use to you to see a site in transition and if you have any follow up questions I'd be happy to respond at ubercommando@gmail.com and the website is here http://www.rhubba.com

My site is http://www.baa.me.uk/ It's just html not Wordpress or anything else. I build it (and maintain it) with text generation software. It's probably not the best site but it is the cheapest.

You're welcome to take a look at http://www.shinosshow.com - it's set to direct to a page on my company's Wordpress site.
My other short is also on there too - http://www.jonahsquids.co.uk
Hope it's helpful.

James
here's the website of my recent short. It's not perfect as the visitor has to scroll down to see the trailer but it gets free hosting and I like it's simplicity.
