Can I claim to be SPACT in firearms if Ex-Military?

I was in the army and I have been told that I would not need to do a firearms course by an instructor. I have a We Got Pop account and the instructor said I might as well click firearms trained on the SPACT drop down menu.

Hi Steve
Given you'll have far more experience than most SPACTS who've gone through a weekend or week-long workshop/courses so you can definitely list firearms handling experience on any CV or agency site.
