INDEXCan you recommend de-click and other cine-mod services in London?

Hey Shooters,
I have a small set of Carl Zeiss Jena lenses. I wouldn't dare to disassemble them for de-clicking the aperture and I am looking for someone or a small business who can do it for me. The 50mm needs servicing too.
Many thanks,
Attila

Hey Attila.
I also have a set of Carl Zeiss Jena. For de-clicking and maintenance, I wouldn't hesitate to get in contact with optical support in London. Best service you could get.
What lenses have you got on your set?
Best,
Domingo

Hello,
You can also try Sendean Cameras in Soho and Clerkenwell. I've never had any lenses de-clicked but I always get them to service my 8mm and 16mm cameras and they've always done a great job. Good luck!

Hey Atila, That's a solid set of lenses. I have the same that you mentioned with the serials a bit far apart from each other and I also added a 29mm CZJ MC which is technically a pentacon rebranded and a 135mm CZJ red MC which is one of my favourite from the whole set. I'll say that in general, they have consistency taking into account the colour aberration and distortion or tints that you get with them but hey I bought them because I was looking to step away from the ultra-sharp and digital look you get out of new glass. They serve for particular stories I wouldn't use them all around unless I feel this look could benefit the story, but that's my opinion. Try to use them more and give me your thoughts on them.
