Dear Shooters,

Hope you're all enjoying a pleasant festive period. A friend and I are looking into going to cannes this year to just experience the festival with a view to entering a short the following year.
This will be our first time at the festival and I was wondering if any shooters had any advice on accommodation and prices; or maybe even some shooters fancied buddying up to get something cheaper?
Being film students we are going to apply for the 'cinephiles accreditation' entry; does anyone know how much access this gives you?
Any other general advice would be much appreciated.
