I just wanted to say to all aspiring filmmakers/technicians/artists that after one year of doing some small paid gigs and working for free whilst making money in p/t jobs, I am now working as an editor. It would seem that all my hard work has paid off. I have changed careers and now I'm getting paid for doing what I love. Lets do this!!

Self study and joined insidetheedit! great learning resource..did loads of free stuff got lucky and worked hard. Needed other work to support myself when doing free stuff and still only just making ends meet but still going strong!
