INDEXCheap softie advice: is it the rycote softie a decent one?

Dear all,
I'm not really into sound and I'am asking this for an italian friend who is starting using microphones and booms etc.
He is wondering if the rycote softie was a decent one or if it's better to buy a supersoftie.
Any suggestion about price/quality for softie/supersoftie? What about Blimp Kits?
