I'm looking to build, long-term, future collaborations and am currently Exec Producer on 4 shorts, all currently at different stages, but I also am learning the craft of screenwriting. I've contributed to a couple of scripts. The idea struck me that perhaps we could generate something unique for you for your show reel? I'm going to email something I wrote to you.

Hi Grace, I'm looking to do the same thing so maybe we can use each others time wisely and work on something together or at least use the same crew in the same day or something.....just a thought! I've found it quite difficult to get everyone available on the same day for no pay as we all have to take paid work if it comes in...let me know your thoughts or what you find on here. Hi Grace,

I'm a camera assistant/sound and editor and have been working in production for over a year, however I've only had the chance to work with sensitive information therefore I myself have NO showreel after 1,5 years :(

I'd be more than up for a shooting/editing or assisting with a couple of scenes, I have a very good friend who is an actress looking to build her reel too and a network of free bodies just starting out in the industry who we can all collaborate with.

Thanks everyone for your messages and emails. There are so many talented people on here. I think that I've responded to everyone now. Actor-wise I'm still looking at scripts so haven't forgotten anyone that has posted/messaged here. I've had a lot of work come up so hasn't been as on it as usual so please don't think me rude or ungrateful.

Dziko, thanks for this but I'm working away the 5th of July.

* I'm still looking for a writer to write something that suits what I'm looking for. I have a few ideas of characters/scenarios that I'd like to play around with or am open to other ideas.

* I'm still open to working with as many people that have good quality recording equipment incl sound/lighting.

I'm probably looking at filming early August time so would love to hear from anyone else.

Andrew- are you still interested in getting involved - I realise that I never got round to calling you and fear I may have missed the boat.

Tim, I know we messaged back and forth but I would love to hear any more ideas for scripts that you have. I would say that my acting style tends to veer towards drama but I am actually very dry and sarcastic in real life so everyone assumes that I do comedy (which I'd def like to try more). I don't think that any of the scripts that you sent me would be right for what I'm looking for but I really enjoyed reading them. If you had the time and were able to write something then I would love that!

Matt, thanks for this. I absolutely would love to chat with you about this (maybe after we've decided what material we're filming??)

Gabrielle, Robert, Jackie and Lianne - as I said before it would be lovely to hear more from you about what you need. I've got a couple of idea but have you got any ideas of characters/scenarios that you'd like to play that you may want on your showreel??

Was wondering how you're getting along with this project. I would definitely be interested in getting involved. I'm an actor and would love to work with some like minded people. Like you I would like to try some comedy as my current showreel is quite dramatic and I would just love to do something a bit lighter.
