Converting dpx files back into a workable format for FCP10?

Hi Shooters,

Can anyone advise me how to convert dpx files back into a good workable file, back into final cut pro 10?

We had some vfx done on a film and we're experiencing some issues with getting it to work.

We've tried Jpeg.mov coded which worked... but obviously not ideal for resolution.

png's need to made into a compound clip, which seems tricky and they aren't timing correctly.

Thanks guys!!

Hi, one way of doing it would be to import the dpx sequences into Da Vinci Resolve Lite, which is free, and export ProRes quicktimes from there. This would also allow you to pre-grade the footage if it's in log space.
