Could someone give me feedback on my short film made during COVID19 lockdown?

I made this film so that I could share with the world the realisation I had when I was given the time to stop and listen to the people that are closest to me. Spending time with my family gave me an insight into something I had never considered before.

I will be forever grateful for this time I had to learn and then given the opportunity to share the knowledge. I genuinely believe that there is a massive need for further education on childbirth and the powers of the female body.

Any advice or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance!

Truthfully, it's funny, rough, very short, basic... But you got it done!! The poor young girl - it's so funny watching her - struggling to be... I guess that's it isn't it, it's just awkward 'being' at that age. Well done for getting it made. Keep doing them! (The sound was a bit fuzzy on my speakers, so watch out for that.)

Hi Lucy,

It is a lovely short short, I would echo what Bal says the sound does peak and distort quite a bit on my laptop speakers, probably just needs to tweak the levels a bit. But over all it's a lovely documentary made in challenging conditions. I love the ending.

Hi Keith,

Thank you for taking the time to write your feedback. I will have a little play with the sound. I'm glad to hear you like the ending.

A great video, it is rough, but that is entirely in keeping as it makes it feel intimate. The message comes across clearly, across age groups too. In this country, as it says, childbirth is safe (is it really 99.7% safe? Pre-eclampsia is potentially fatal, and there are other complications which do need medical intervention, if only blood transfusions. But with proper medical care, yes, childbirth is not something to be scared of, any more than crossing the road or driving a car) It certainly should be included in education, and this video is a great first step in a possible campaign. Well done!
