Hi Michael,
The date for the upload said the 21st of December.. but I'm sorry about that - what you can do is re-upload on the 1st of Feb and that would qualify it for running in FOTM.
Thanks
Kelie

Thank you for your reply,
No it was a full 12 min film, a comedy horror 'DWORK' which can be found on my profile. It is a low budget fun tongue in cheek horror which contains some bad language, but surely this can't be the reason it was taken down? To pay a monthly membership to show your films and get involved in the competition is great but I think it is unfair to pay to be on here when things are taken down. I have messaged Shooing People but have not had any reply. Horror is my thing, but maybe shooting people only like 'safe' light hearted work i'm not so sure.

I have emailed Shooters on several occasions for different things and received only one response on one question...

Hi Michael,
I'm sorry about this. Your film was removed from Film Of The Month because it didn't qualify for January. Running films have to be uploaded from the 1st-20th of each month to compete. I'm sorry about this, a message should have been sent to you. You can read more about the regulations here: https://shootingpeople.org/filmofthemonth
I hope it doesn't deter you from entering in the future.
Thanks, Kelie

Was it a trailer or anything that might have been deemed to have been 'not a film'? I've had this happen to me a couple times now and it's very annoying. You would think it courteous for Shooters to advise you if they make any changes to submissions or uploads etc... but no! You mostly only find out after the fact when you go to search.

Hi Kelie,
Thank you for your response, I am pretty sure the fim was uploaded to Film Of The Month on time as I was counting the days down untill the next submissions start. Maybe it can go in again next time? thanks for the help.
Mike
