Director looking for short film script

I am a director looking for short film scripts to work on in either the drama or thriller genre, currently trying to avoid comedy and horror.

I am not trying to copy or imitate these films in anyway, I thought I would just reference them as the type of stories and genres I would be interested in making.

Having a background in documentary photography I strive to tell my stories visually, in intimate and informative ways. I have tried writing short scripts but have struggled greatly due to my dyslexia. I am very keen to read whats out there and if any of you would like to see how your stories will be interpreted please get in contact. It would be great to open up a dialogue with one another so we can discuss your writing in greater detail.

It has been mentioned that there is a bulletin board where people post scripts but I can't seem to find it.

"......I was blown away by THE SWING by Joe Graham. It’s my favourite one out of the whole lot. To be honest, I think it’s one of the best shorts I ever read - funnily enough, it clearly has a feature film structure. But I truly believe that to make it full-justice, THE SWING has to be filmed in Britain. It has a lot of actors and exterior locations that feel very much British. I love the kids/grown-ups side of it, the fact that something that has happened 20 years ago is still tormenting people’s lives. I’ve always liked this kind of stuff."

Hi Jordan I have a short drama about a young lad: Escaping reality of abuse at home, a young boy day dreams he is a member of the doomed expedition to the South Pole, finding solace and comfort in being wanted.

Hi Jordan, How short is the short you require. I'm just rewriting existing idea on professional advice (3rd attempt). Will be about 90 mins low budget as all buildings and scenes remain in Manchester. Log Line......Can a trainee police officer maintain his honest Christian teachings amongst corrupt and blasphemous colleagues.
