Directors to lead workshops - How to best find people?

10 years, 3 months ago - mandana mohit

I run a filmmaking community in London and we are looking for professional directors with industry experience in Film and TV to run directing workshops for us.

What would be the best way of finding London based film directors for workshops? Are there any good online resources to put an ad on for example? I have put up an ad on shooting people and have been looking at Directors.uk.com and LinkedIn but on those platforms people have to be contacted individually, so I wondered if someone might know of a better way of going about this.

Thanks a lot,
Mandana

I have considerable experience as a broadcast television drama director and as a lecturer / workshop & course tutor, both operating independently and as a freelance for organisations, universities, colleges and schools. Unfortunately I have now moved outside London near Chichester on the South coast, though not far in distance or travel time from the capital. If you would like more information - please e-mail me Nicholas.Prosser@gmail.com or contact the Directors U.K. or The Directors' Guild of G.B.

Hello Mandana,
I'm an award-winning drama director who has worked mainly in short films. Currently I have two feature film projects in development with producers.
Previously I have directed TV commercials and documentaries for broadcasters.
Your directing workshops sound fascinating, I'd love to hear more.
Best,
Azeem
