Hi Shooters,

’m a student studying film production at university and for my graduation dissertation, I have chosen to write about film festivals and festival strategy. I want to explore how a festival is created and what makes a successful festival. Of course, if financially the festival is making money then it may be deemed a success but I’m also interested to find out about how a festival can establish itself within the industry.

Do any of you have experience of working with a festival, as a festival organiser, programmer, director etc. I'm at a research stage at the moment so looking to gather a lot of information on the overall process. Any help is much appreciated.
