Does any body know how to remove background lights which go behind a subject on Adobe After effects?

Able to remove the lights at the side of the subject but not from moving behind.

It is much easier to help out if one can see the problem. Ad a link to a still of the footage you are struggling with.

Hi Tina
yes we need to see an image/clip of what it is you are trying to remove. Some things you can rotoscope out by masking around the subject but it will not always look that great unless you spend a lot of time. You can use Mocha as part of AE to track and mask sections or if you had Mocha Pro you could use the 'remove' module to help paint out automatically the parts you dont want but it can be fairly time consuming to do. Check out tutorials online using Mocha for removals, its very powerful.
